1. Using Spellcrypt
Spellcrypt is a browser word puzzle and strategy game. These terms describe personal use of the game and optional account features. Paid offers, when available, will also have Terms of Sale. If you are below the age at which you may agree to these terms where you live, involve a parent or legal guardian as required by local law.
2. Accounts and saved progress
Guest progress is stored in your browser and may be lost if you clear site data or change devices. An optional account can synchronize supported completed results and preferences; progress that has not synced is not backed up in the cloud. Keep access to your sign-in provider or email secure and do not use someone else’s account. Account export and deletion controls are in Your account.
3. Fair and lawful use
Do not disrupt the service, attempt unauthorized access, bypass access restrictions, submit manipulated results to shared rankings or use abusive or unlawful profile names. Automated activity that harms availability or fair play is not permitted. These rules do not restrict uses or research that applicable law protects.
4. Game content and your data
You may play Spellcrypt for personal use and share results using its sharing features. Spellcrypt content remains with its respective rights holders. Third-party dictionaries and assets retain their own licenses; see Dictionary credits for word-list attribution. You retain your rights in your own data. Operating account and sync features does not transfer ownership of that data to us.
5. Changes, interruptions and restrictions
Updates, maintenance and technical faults may interrupt play. Game rules and features may change. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risks or legal obligations, and provide a reason and an opportunity to resolve the issue when appropriate and lawful. Any paid access must also respect the purchased offer and applicable consumer remedies.
6. Privacy and your legal rights
Privacy & consent in the footer explains browser storage, account data and optional analytics and advertising. Optional tracking requires a separate choice; using the game or signing in does not enable it. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer protections, liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or your right to use competent courts and consumer authorities. No mandatory arbitration or waiver of collective rights is imposed by these terms.
7. Updates and contact
We will show the revision date when these terms change and give appropriate notice of material changes, obtaining agreement where required. Changes will not retroactively remove rights attached to an existing purchase. For support and privacy questions, contact support@spellcrypt.today.
